Rainscreen Cladding

Rainscreens are a wall cladding that acts as a moisture resistant barrier surface to an exterior wall. It creates a capillary break and allows drainage and evaporation. The advantage of using rainscreens is to get the insulation and vapor barrier on the outside of the building, establishing a thermal barrier and increasing energy efficiency.

Rainscreens can be made from a variety of materials including:

  • Copper

  • High Pressure Laminate (HPL)

Exterior Insulation Finish Systems (EIFS)

EIFS is a lightweight, continuous insulation wall cladding that incorporates rigid foam board insulation covered with a thin synthetic, water-resistant finish coating in a single composite system.
