Mike Hill Honored with National Safety Council’s Distinguished Service to Safety Award

Performance Contracting Group is proud to announce that Mike Hill, Director of National Safety, has been recognized with the prestigious Distinguished Service to Safety Award by the National Safety Council (NSC). This honor was presented at the 2024 NSC Congress and Expo, underscoring Mike’s exceptional leadership and dedication to workplace safety.

With a career spanning decades, Mike has been instrumental in fostering a robust safety culture at PCG, overseeing the safety of more than 10,000 employees. Under his guidance, the company has implemented innovative initiatives like Safety University, a cornerstone of PCG’s ongoing commitment to safety excellence.

At the latest Safety University, attendees engaged with industry leaders, vendors, and field experts to discuss cutting-edge safety practices. Sessions covered new safety methodologies, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and peer-to-peer exchanges on real-world scenarios. A highlight of the event was a compelling presentation by Brandon Anderson of the Associated General Contractors of Missouri, focusing on suicide prevention, an important topic in today’s industry safety landscape.

This training reinforces PCG’s mission of collaboration between the Safety team, Superintendents, and Strategic Development to continuously improve and support one another on every job site.
