Where Vision, People, and Expertise Meet

Our Core Values

Safety Core ValueWithin the construction industry, real, inherent risks and dangers exist. Our goal is to ensure our employees are completely aware of, and comprehensively trained in, the processes and procedures to prevent all injuries. We believe each and every employee is accountable to create a safe environment for the protection of the health and well-being of all our employees. The safety of our employees is our primary objective and is more important than productivity, quality, and profit. Safety is paramount in our culture and must be an integral part of our thoughts, communications, and actions. Safety is first, always, every day – nothing less!

Quality Core ValueQuality is defined as a degree or grade of excellence. Throughout our field and office operations, our work is completed with an associated grade of excellence. We are committed to provide our customers with products, processes, and services which exceed their expectations. We continually review and improve our products, processes, and services by devoting the resources necessary to ensure customer satisfaction. We manage our quality initiatives by fully utilizing the company-developed business tools and systems. We respond to customers, associates and vendors timely and accurately. We strive to be cost efficient in all aspects of our business. We will deliver on our commitments under all circumstances.

Integrity Core ValueA reputation for integrity is difficult to earn but easy to lose. PCG’s reputation is shaped by every employee, every day. Integrity demands that we, as representatives of PCG, are always honest and trustworthy with others – fellow employees, customers, vendors, officials, industry colleagues, the general public – everyone. We lead by example. We are accountable for our actions. We prepare and follow through on our commitments in a timely manner. We work towards solutions, professionally and ethically. We treat all others with dignity and respect. Simply put, we strive to do the right thing at work and at home – in everything we do.

Employee Success and Well-Being

Employee Success &Well Being Core ValueOur employees and fellow owners are the lifeblood of our company. To thrive as a company, we must select, engage, train, challenge and develop each employee to reach his or her maximum potential as a contributor to this company’s achievements, while placing a strong focus on each employee’s well-being. Our employees’ well-being will be realized by providing opportunities for truly meaningful, challenging and satisfying work, as well as the tools, support and training needed to overcome any challenges such work may present. Success will be measured by each employee exceeding the expectations of our valuable customers and all others with whom we are involved, and surpassing what is expected of them within our organizations.

Entrepreneurial Spirit

Entrepreneurial Spirit Core ValuePCG’s continuing growth and prosperity is dependent on all of our salaried, hourly and union employees’ abilities and motivations to passionately seek out new business opportunities. We will strive for organic growth of our existing businesses as well as pursuing new opportunities in diverse, but related construction disciplines. We must pursue only the very best strategically aligned opportunities and do so with unwavering discipline. It is imperative that throughout our business development activities we focus on detailed analysis and execution of our objectives by engaging the energies and talents of everyone in their respective domain to achieve success.

Customer Alignment

Customer Alignment Core ValueOur customers are the reason we are in business. At every touch point, and at every level in our company, we want our customers to think of PCG employees as dedicated, fair, innovative and ethical partners and friends. We establish and sustain these relationships by building personal trust based on effective communication, proven performance and unwavering dependability.

Fun Company

Fun Company Core ValueWe strongly believe that enjoyment breeds success. We spend the majority of our waking hours in the office and/or otherwise working for the company. We work extremely hard every day, and we expect a lot from each other. To achieve the highest levels of success and be a World-Class Company, it is vital that we enjoy what we do, and that we care about the people we so heavily rely on every day. The key to being a fun company is to be personally involved with those around us; to fully appreciate the different functions we perform and the critical roles we all play. We must strive to support each other every day and to celebrate our successes together. While the company officially sponsors many fun events, the ultimate responsibility lies with each of us, each day. It is up to us to ensure our company is fulfilling and a fun place to work!

When Others Rest, We Do More

The key to our success is to focus on developing and maintaining a strong, performance-driven culture that inspires our employees to achieve great things.
