Westlake Steps Lot 2 and Lot 4

Holland Partner Group | Seattle, WA | June 2017

• PCI had the resources to supply both sites with labor and materials simultaneously while maintaining our number one core value and our customer’s schedule
• The jobsite was set in a steep hillside with limited access for deliveries. PCI offered solutions for site logistics by providing heavy duty loading platforms to allow material stocking via tower crane at each floor level. PCI installed bridges between buildings at each floor level to allow material flow from one building to the other.
• Swing stages were used in zero lot line areas where fixed scaffold would have needed to be placed on neighboring properties.
• PCI transitioned from standard frame and brace scaffold to a narrower Cuplock system midway up the wall face to allow safe clearance from high voltage power lines.
• PCI provided scaffold with weather enclosure to access to all exterior walls and soffits utilizing three different scaffold systems
• Provided heavy duty platforms to bridge between the two buildings for material transport
• Provided overhead protection canopies on the public sidewalks, debris chutes and heavy duty loading platforms
• This project consisted of four 7 story mixed-use apartment buildings.
