The Venetian is investing over a billion dollars into its facilities, with a primary focus on the transformative renovation of its convention space. As part of this effort, PCI contributed by providing precise square footage calculations and valuable insights for the builder through laser scanning each level and area of the convention center—spanning over 1 million square feet. Using the point cloud data and smart objects, our BIM team extracted quantitative information from a 3D model, significantly streamlining the ordering process.
