PCI Marine provided our full design-build service for the structural and mechanical insulation scopes aboard the Lewis and Clark Class T-AKE dry cargo/ammunition ship, designed and built by General Dynamics NASSSCO. The T-AKE program consisted of a total of 14 ships that were constructed and delivered between 2004 and 2012.
The T‑AKE class is operated by Military Sealift Command (MSC) providing underway replenishment capability to the fleet. Their primary mission is to supports sustained naval operations by enabling forward presence and reducing reliance on shore infrastructure.
