The PCI Seattle Scaffold team is proud to support the seismic retrofit of the Admiral Way North and South Bridges in West Seattle, working with the Seattle Department of Transportation and DH Charles Engineering, Inc.. Our PCI Seattle Scaffolding team took on the challenge of navigating steep slopes and complex terrain, installing scaffolding at each of the bridge’s 10 piers.
The project required a CupLock modular scaffold system to secure the base on uneven ground, with frame scaffolding extending up to 85 feet high. Mobile cranes were key in helping us pre-stage all materials for efficient installation, and we shrink-wrapped the South bridge to maintain safety.
