Designed by award-winning Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, the Portland Japanese Garden features highly-detailed wooden walls and ceilings throughout. Despite long lead times to acquire the highly specific materials for the project, the team was able to complete work on the garden as scheduled, so that visitors could once again enjoy the beauty of this magnificent urban oasis.
