McDermott Will & Emery is an eight-floor law firm project located in the brand-new Riverpoint Office Tower in Chicago’s West Loop submarket. A fast-paced schedule coupled with extensive millwork finishes and radial building façade created a challenging path for PCI to traverse. The project started ahead of core and shell completion, and took place over a seven-month time frame. Amid an incomplete building infrastructure, extensive coordination, work stoppages and manpower shortages, PCI project team members were able to maintain tight control over project costs while meeting aggressive scheduling deadlines.
