PCI Marine provided our full design-build service for the structural and mechanical insulation scopes aboard the John Lewis Class T-AO Fleet Oiler, designed and built by General Dynamics NASSSCO. The program will consist of a total of 20 ships that will be constructed and delivered between 2018 and 2034.
The T‑AO class is operated by Military Sealift Command (MSC) providing underway replenishment capability to the fleet, including fuel and limited amounts of dry cargo to United States Navy carrier strike groups, amphibious-ready groups, and other surface forces, to allow them to operate worldwide.
