Lenexa, KS – August 27, 2025 – Performance Contracting is proud to announce that Dalton Bruil, CSP, Senior Branch Safety Engineer, has been named to the National Safety Council (NSC) Rising Stars of Safety Class of 2025.

Now in its 16th year, the Rising Stars of Safety program recognizes young professionals age 40 and under who demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety through innovative initiatives and measurable impact. Sponsored by Dow and featured in Safety+Health magazine, this year’s class includes 41 honorees across industries, government agencies, and global organizations.

Dalton Bruil, Senior Branch Safety Engineer

Dalton’s recognition is the result of his innovative leadership in developing and implementing an AI-driven pre-task planning program at PCI’s Seattle branch. This cutting-edge initiative is transforming how teams prepare for and engage on the jobsite, while delivering powerful, measurable results:

  • Increased field engagement
  • A reduction in workplace incidents
  • Zero recordable/preventable incidents and zero lost-time days in 2024 under his leadership

“This year’s Rising Stars of Safety demonstrate what it means to be a safety leader and safety hero,” NSC CEO Lorraine Martin said. “Their dedication to creating a culture of continuous improvement is key to spreading the value of safety across our workplaces and communities. We thank these honorees for their role in making others safe and saving lives.”

The Rising Stars of Safety honorees will be formally recognized at the 2025 NSC Safety Congress & Expo in Denver this fall.
