Ford’s BlueOval SK Battery Park Is Coming to Kentucky
Consisting of twin battery plants that will power a new lineup of Ford and Lincoln EVs, Ford’s BlueOval SK Battery Park will be built in Glendale, Kentucky.
The joint venture with SK On is a $5.8 billion dollar investment in local area. The twin battery manufacturing facilities will support the future of Ford Motor Company’s lineup as it moves into an electrified future. Powering vehicles with innovative technology that will be manufactured sustainably right in the heart of coal country, the facility is targeted to open in 2025.
